• Two providers are involved: Framer hosts the site and counts visits anonymously, Bunny delivers the videos.

• If you write to me, I use your message only to reply.

The sections below follow the order in which you meet each service on this site.

VISITING THIS SITE

This website is hosted by Framer B.V., Rozengracht 207B, 1016 LZ Amsterdam, the Netherlands (Framer privacy statement). Framer processes data on my behalf as a processor. When you open a page, the server automatically logs technical data:

• IP address of your device

• date and time of the request

• page requested and amount of data transferred

• browser type, operating system and referring URL

This is needed to deliver the site and keep it stable and secure. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). Framer uses Amazon Web Services, among others, for hosting, so a transfer to the USA cannot be ruled out. The safeguards Framer applies to such transfers are described in its privacy statement.

VISITOR STATISTICS

To see how many people visit and which projects they look at, I use the analytics built into Framer. The measurements are sent to events.framer.com. According to Framer, this analytics tool sets no cookies and creates no persistent identifiers. To count unique visitors per day, your IP address and browser identifier are hashed with a key that changes daily and is then deleted. The results are anonymous and cannot be traced back to you (Framer: GDPR and cookies). Recorded are, among other things, pages viewed, time on page, referring site, device type and approximate country. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in understanding how my portfolio is used. Since nothing is stored on your device, no consent is required under Section 25 of the German TDDDG.

WATCHING VIDEOS

The videos on this site are delivered via Bunny Stream, provided by BunnyWay d.o.o., Dunajska cesta 165, 1000 Ljubljana, Slovenia (Bunny privacy policy). They are stored in Frankfurt am Main and served through Bunny's content delivery network. When a video plays, your IP address is transmitted to Bunny, as this is technically necessary to deliver it. Bunny processes this data on my behalf and sets no cookies. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, my legitimate interest in presenting my work quickly and reliably.

GETTING IN TOUCH

If you contact me by email or phone, I process the details you share (name, contact details, your message) to reply. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR for enquiries about a collaboration or a role, otherwise Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. I delete your message once the conversation is finished, unless legal retention periods apply. My email is hosted by GMX (1&1 Mail & Media GmbH, Germany).

INSTAGRAM AND LINKEDIN

This site contains plain links to my Instagram and LinkedIn profiles. No plugins or embedded content from these platforms are used, so no data is sent to them while you browse here. Only when you click a link do you leave this site, and the privacy policy of the respective platform applies.

YOUR RIGHTS

You have the right to:

• access the data I hold about you (Art. 15 GDPR)

• have incorrect data corrected (Art. 16 GDPR)

• have your data deleted (Art. 17 GDPR)

• restrict processing (Art. 18 GDPR)

• receive your data in a portable format (Art. 20 GDPR)

• object to processing based on legitimate interest (Art. 21 GDPR)

• withdraw any consent you have given, with effect for the future (Art. 7(3) GDPR)

An informal email to the address above is enough.

You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection authority. The authority responsible for me is the Berlin Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (Berliner Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit), Alt-Moabit 59–61, 10555 Berlin, Germany.
